The American Legion was built on four pillars: National Security, Americanism, Child Welfare and Rehabilitation.  Our programs support our mission, which are the building blocks of The Pennsylvania American Legion.

One of the most lasting Legion contributions to American life is that of making American communities better places in which to live.  Every program a Post adopts adds strength and better service to the community.  A program of community betterment is a program which will attract the goodwill and support of the citizens of the community.

Our Programs offer many was to support your community, our state and this great Nation.  Health and hospital activities, living memorials and service to God & Country are some ways you can get involved in The American Legion Programs.   We also sponsor many activities including education, flag education, and immigration & naturalization.  You can still be involved with programs that encourage others such as patriotic holidays, youth activities and communicating with elected officials.

For additional information on all of The Pennsylvania American Legion Programs please check all of the Programs our web site and you can also call Headquarters at 717-730-9100.
