Rifle Raffle

The Pennsylvania American Legion commemorative edition “1892 Hartford 45 Long Colt” rifle was raffled off at the Flag Day Ceremony on Sunday, June 14, 2009.  The Proceeds from this raffle supports our Department Commander’s project fund.  Dave Mallein of Post 101 in Carlisle, PA won the 1st numbered rifle and display case.

NASCAR Raffle

The NASCAR raffle was for (2) tickets to the Dover 400 in September.  Department Executive Secretary, Colleen Washinger won the NASCAR tickets.  Proceeds of $151 goes to the Fisher House Project.

Housing for Homeless Veterans Raffle

Three winners were chosen for the raffle to benefit the Housing for Homeless Veterans at this years Round Up.  First Place Winner of $400 is William D. Karchner 17th District Commander; Second Place Winner of $200 is Michael Steiner American Legion Post 411 of Jessup PA; and Third Place Winner of $100 is the 14th District Commander Mark Queen.
