We urge our State and Federal Governments to oppose any closure of Military Reserve Unit Bases or Active Duty Bases located within the State of Pennsylvania

We urge the sponsor and support of legislation by the General Assembly of Pennsylvania providing tax credits to any employer who will either pay an employee who is called to active duty, or an employer who will make up the difference between the person’s military par and their regular pay

We urge our State Legislators to go on record to support the Pennsylvania Medical Association in its quest to reduce the liability insurance premiums and to save the Pennsylvania medical system

We encourage the administrator and the chairman of Keystone Boys State to actively seek state certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for this program

We encourage our State legislature to fund restoration of money cut from the State Veterans Homes and additional money appropriated to hire the nurses needed to cove the nursing shortage

We encourage our State legislature to earmark 5% of all tax money received on any new gaming laws dealing with poker machines or similar games of chance, placed into law at the Pennsylvania Race tracks or elsewhere, to be used for the general social activities and quality care for the Veterans at the six State Veterans Homes

We encourage the General Assembly of Pennsylvania to enact legislation to establish an appropriate Gulf War Bonus
